CAYCE, SC –The Professional Tennis Registry has named the Cayce Tennis & Fitness Center as the2013 Public Facility of the Year.

With more than 14,000 members in 117 countries, the Professional Tennis Registry (PTR) is an international organization that educates and certifies tennis professionals around the world. This is only the second time in PTR history that a South Carolina public tennis center has received the Public Facility of the Year honor.

The Cayce Tennis and Fitness Center has an11,000 square foot clubhouse, a 2,400 square foot fitness center, a full kitchen, an observation deck overlooking the stadium courts, a canteen, a pro-shop and locker rooms with showers. The center also has a conference room that is available for events, business meetings or other community gatherings. The award-winning Cayce facility has 30 lighted hard courts, 7 of which are designed as permanent Quick Start courts for children under the age of eight.
