Public Hearing September 19, 2022

The City of Cayce Board of Zoning Appeals will hold a regularly scheduled meeting to conduct a Public Hearing on September 19, 2022, at 6:00 P.M. at Cayce City Hall, 1800 Twelfth Street Extension. The purpose of this hearing is to receive public input and comments on the following:

Special Exception SE001-22

A request by the applicant, AT&T Mobility, for a Special Exception to construct an above-ground Small Wireless Facility (SMF) in the Knox Abbott Drive Overlay Design District. The Knox Abbott Drive Overlay Design District is designated as an Underground District and, as such, a Wireless Services Provider or a Wireless Infrastructure Provider shall comply with requirements that prohibit electric utilities, telecommunications, or cable providers from installing above-ground structures in the Covered Area in these districts. The proposed SMF location is 500 Knox Abbott Drive (Tax Map Number 004676-01-010).

The general public and other interested parties are encouraged to attend this public hearing.

Questions regarding this matter and/or review of documents relating to them are available for public inspection in the office of Planning and Development, City of Cayce.

PUBLIC HEARINGS

The City of Cayce Planning Commission will hold a regularly scheduled meeting to conduct Public Hearings on Monday, September 19, 2022, at 6:30 P.M. The purpose of these hearings are to receive public input and comments on the following:

Map Amendment 006-22

A request, by the owner, Kennedy Price Investments, LLC, to rezone properties from C-2 (Neighborhood Commercial) to RS-3 (Single-Family Residential). The properties are located at 2216, 2218, 2220 Taylor Road, and vacant lot located next to 2216 Taylor Road (Tax Map Numbers 005759-07-030, 005759-007-004, and 005759-07-003(P), and 005759-07-002).

Map Amendment 007-22

A request, by the applicant, Landmark Properties, for annexation of seven (7) properties in conjunction with RG-1 (General Residential) zoning designation. The properties are located at Idlewild Boulevard, Richland County. The properties are further identified as Tax Map Numbers R11111-01-55, R11114-01-13, R11111-01-54, R11111-01-02, R11114-01-62, R11114-01-61, and R11114-01-02.

The general public and other interested parties are encouraged to attend these public hearings. The Planning Commission is a recommending body only and final action is by City Council.
