Official Cayce communications are being posted on the City of Cayce Facebook Page, Instagram Page, and the top of the home page of the city website, caycesc.gov. Please visit these outlets for consistent updates and information for our Cayce citizens.

 

 

 

Earlier today, Cayce police officers went door-to-door to inform over 100 residents in the Riverland Park neighborhood about a voluntary evacuation due to rising water levels. This impacts Riverland Park residents only. To further assist our citizens, they were provided a phone number and information for local shelters that were aware of the voluntary evacuation.

Tomorrow, Monday, September 30, schools in the Lexington School District 2 are closed.

At this time, the Blossom Street Bridge and the Gervais Street Bridge will remain open. The 12th Street Extension near the Amazon Distribution Center will be closed due to flooding.

Please expect long lines at many local gas stations and fill your tank up when you can.

Dominion reports that at 6 PM that there are 317 households in Cayce still without power. Power has been restored to 7,332 households.
