Public Hearing on June 21 at 5:00pm: Proposed Redistricting

The City of Cayce is in the process of redistricting and will hold a Public Hearing on June 21 at 5:00pm at City Hall to discuss the proposed changes.

Redistricting is the process of redrawing the lines of districts from which public officials are elected. It typically takes place after a census to accommodate population changes over the previous decade.

Not all residents or properties are impacted: in fact, very few are.  The City has mailed letters to those directly impacted by the proposed changes, which can be seen on this map.  Please review that map, as well as the Resolution adopted by Council in March 2023, which outlines the process and principles we are required to follow.
