CITY MANAGER'S OFFICE
The City Manager’s office provides professional leadership and direction in the administration and execution of all policies established by Council and supervises City Departments to ensure high quality community services. The functions of the City Manager’s office are to guide each department in improving the City’s quality of life. Daily functions include working with City Council to develop solutions and programs to address city needs and issues, overseeing the initiatives and goals of City Departments, and ensuring each department is operating in the most efficient and productive manner, which best utilizes resources funded by the taxpayers.
In addition to these functions, other areas of responsibilities under the City Manager’s office include Information Technology, Finance, and Human Resources.

The Cayce Historical Museum was established to share with the citizens and visitors of Cayce the rich history that our City has. The Museum staff will share with you the history of Cayce dating back to the 1700’s, when the first European settlements were established. The Museum facility is filled with artifacts and displays sure to make learning about our history fun. Open every day, except Monday, book a group tour or just bring the family in and enjoy all that the Museum has to offer.

The Parks Department is responsible for the overall welfare and maintenance of all parks located in the City of Cayce. In addition to the parks, the department ensures the maintenance and cleanliness of our streetscapes and playgrounds throughout the City.

PLANNING & DEVELOPMENT
The City of Cayce Planning & Development Office is responsible for helping the community define and implement its vision for the future of the City. Our investment to the community is through timely and professional review of construction and development plans, along with administering the City of Cayce Zoning Ordinance. The City of Cayce Public Safety Department consists of Police, Fire, and Animal Services. The functions of this department includes traffic enforcement, firefighting, responding to calls for service, animal control, investigations, welfare checks, property checks, and medical first responding. The department has over 53 Public Safety officers who perform police and fire duties, along with 8 Fire Department personnel and a Fire Marshall.

The City of Cayce Sanitation Department is responsible for the collection and disposal of solid waste, yard debris, and recyclables within the City limits. Residential customers receive weekly collection services by the Sanitation Department, while commercial businesses contract privately with commercial sanitation services. The department can accommodate collections to residents who have special circumstances requiring additional collections, however, they must contact the Sanitation Department to schedule a time and discuss any additional costs.

WATER AND SEWER (UTILITIES)
The City of Cayce Water and Sewer Department, also known as the Utilities Department, is responsible for all water and sewer billing and collections, sewer line repairs, engineering, waste water treatment, water treatment, new construction utility reviews, among many other duties. Below is a brief description of the functions of each entity within the Water and Sewer Department.
Maintains over 1.1 million lineal feet of water pipe lines, over 1 million lineal feet of gravity sewer lines, and over 385,000 lineal feet of sewer force main lines. The Engineering Department accepts, reviews, and approves drawings for construction permitting for water and sewer mains located within the city limits and portions of Lexington County. We also perform final inspections, and oversee final close-out procedures for Permits to Operate. Please see the engineering site for further information.

Billing and Payment Department
The Billing and Payment Department, for the Water and Sewer Department, handles all aspects of billing and receiving payments for over 11,000 water and/or sewer accounts. The Department consist of three (3) Customer Service Specialists, one (1) Billing Specialist and a Customer Accounts Manager. In addition to the office staff, there is two (2) Meter Readers and one (1) Meter Tech to support the Billing and Payment Department.
